PVTS Facility Locations -- serving ALL of
Northern California:
Based in the Napa Valley, PVTS has been serving
the north bay area since 1993. Our company began by offering services in the
area of vineyard trellis installation; specializing in difficult terrain.
These types of installations required innovative approaches. Through the use
of applied technology and design science, PVTS custom fabricated heavy
equipment to complete tasks where no commercial machinery existed.
Our goal has been to provide high quality
installations for hillside vineyard clients. In 1996, we added land clearing
and deer fencing to our scope of services. Much of our development experience
continues to include steep, excessively rocky terrain.
In 1997 we broadened our services to
technical consulting in vineyard development and project management.
In 1998, PVTS again took an interest in technology
and design science relative to project layout and planning. Geographic
Information Systems (GIS) technology became a daily tool for
vineyard design, vineyard layout and project planning. Currently, PVTS
provides technical consultation and services in the following areas:
- high-precision
(centimeter level) global positioning system (GPS)
mapping
- GIS data management and consultation
- aerial imagery / remote sensing / microclimate
mapping
- 3-dimensional terrain modeling
- facilities management mapping and database support
Moving into the mid-decade after Y2K, PVTS provides broader
agricultural land development consultation to local crops other than grapes.
We offer education and training in the areas of GIS data management, GPS data
collection, and precision agriculture. More recently, we now provide survey
and engineering support services in the area of Land Information Systems (LIS).

shop and fabrication facility is located on Atlas Peak Road in Napa, California.
Our offices, also in Napa, are just off Big Ranch Road between Napa and
Yountville.
